SARAH MOUNTAIN ALL ABOUT CHOCOLATE
We are beyond thrilled to collaborate with Sarah, she is a Pastry Chef & Chocolatier with over 22 years experience within the Hospitality Industry. She has spent her career to date working in the most elite establishments in London from the Best 5 star Luxury Hotels to Patisserie shops and Michelin star restaurants.
Sarah is regarded as one of the most talented pastry chefs in her field and was featured in Elite Traveller Magazine in 2018 as One of the Top 14 Female chefs in the uk.
She was the first Female Executive Pastry Chef in 150 years at Hotel Cafe Royal. Her previous Executive Pastry chef roles include, The Dorchester, Corinthia and & Dinner by Heston Blummental.
One of her most recent achievements, was that she was featured on Channel 4’s TV show “SnackMasters” The show saw Sarah compete against The Chocolatier Paul A Young. Where they both had to recreate the nations favourite Christmas treat, Quality Street Chocolates. Sarah Won the competition and was crowned the Snack Master Champion in December 2020.
Sarah will be teaching you how to temper your Chocolate, Moulding shells using Moulds, flavoured Ganaches, filling shells, truffles and capping, rolling and dipping. Using fantastic flavours and cocoa butter transfer sheets and cocoa butter colours to make your chocolates.
